Hotel in a very convenient location with access to bus, metro and main line stations. Rooms adequate for 3/4 day stay. Larger wardrobe space would help. Area for tea/ coffee making very poor.. Hotel staff were very good and friendly. Breakfast good with plenty of selection.

Room was clean and well appointed. You can use the app to order different pillows, more coffee, etc. Service was excellent. We used the gym as well which is well equipped. One thing to note is that although the rooms have AC, this is not operating in the winter months. The rooms are kept very warm so our only option was to open a window. The street noise was considerable given we were there on a holiday. We were only there a couple nights so we managed but if you need a cool room to sleep, this might not be the hotel for you depending on the time of year.

Our family had a pleasant stay! The children were thoroughly entertained by the unique slide connecting the second floor and lobby. The suites were lovely, and the complimentary champagne and candy for the kids was a truly thoughtful welcome. The convenience was unbeatable: the hotel is directly connected to both the shopping mall and the train station, making travel effortless. Furthermore, the staff was friendly and accommodating, especially with our large group—they managed our luggage with ease.

Great location right next to the train station. Walkable distance to the Malaga old town which was great. Close to beach, restaurants, bars, and shops. Hotel was clean, nice staff, cleaning service every night , and wonderful amenities.

We had a great stay at Barceló Hotel Málaga. The hotel is very clean, check-in was smooth and easy, and the staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The terrace pool is a nice bonus for relaxing after exploring the city. Two things to keep in mind: parking is €22 per day, and while the location is convenient next to the train station, it’s about a 12–15 minute walk to the old town and around 25 minutes to the marina. That said, the walk felt safe and was easy to do even with young kids (ours are 5, and we managed fine without strollers). Overall, a comfortable, modern hotel with good amenities and great service.

We had a fantastic stay at the Barcelo Malaga. Despite having an issue with a pipe leaking into our room during our stay, the staff were incredibly helpful and proactive in getting this sorted. They kindly upgraded us to a different room as compensation. Their friendliness, kindness and help was outstanding with a particular mention for Nacho who was just the best. We would definitely stay here next time we are in Malaga and have already recommended it to family and friends. Thank you!

This hotel is awesome! It’s a little further out but it’s so worth it for the rooftop pool and bar, the amazing breakfast and the massive, comfy beds. The staff were all lovely especially the guys on the rooftop pool bar and lovely Ivan on reception. The hotel is so easy to get to from the airport as it’s connected to Zambrano station- you wouldn’t know it though as it is genuinely really quiet and calm inside. We’ve never stayed in a Barcelo hotel before now we want to try them all! Oh and there is an actual massive slide connecting the first floor to the lobby and it is joyous!
