"This property is extremely disorganized. Do not stay here.
While we were relaxing in our room, a housekeeper walked in without knocking and said, “When did they rent this room?” with no apology afterward. There were also no trash bags provided in the room.
At 1:00 a.m., we were woken up by a huge fight happening above us, which resulted in six police officers responding to the scene.
The breakfast attendant openly complained that they had been working seven days straight, and front desk staff brought their children to work, allowing them to run around the property.
I requested a refund due to these issues, but the property refused.
Overall, this was a very unprofessional and uncomfortable experience. I would not recommend staying at this location."
"Room was disgusting, had what looked like dried food an semen on bedding. No towels in room. Front office refused a refund after arguing about the cleanliness of room. Took an hour to get bedding changed after arguing with them. Would not recommend."
"Older building but with visible renovations. Very quiet with friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean. I didn’t consume any breakfast here as it was a continental breakfast and I prefer a fuller meal. Breakfast area/lobby also tidy. I always stay here when I’m in Hillsdale and will continue to do so."
"I very rarely complain, I was looking forward to staying at the hotel. When we arrived it was late and the lobby, empty, was fairly dark (which I understand given the time frame), it took fairly long awhile for someone to come to the front desk. I rang the desk bell a few times until eventually someone came. I understand that the hotel is older but the rooms were filthy (more so the bathroom), just dirty. We went for breakfast in the am that was suppose to be open until nine and we arrived at 8:30 with very limited to no options (no meat, fruit, items in fridge, bagels etc) and items were being cleaned up when we arrived (cereals, milk, pancake items etc). It was all ok but I think first impression was disappoint"
