"The Hotel was amazing!! It was near my son's military base,(12 mins- 15mins drive). The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly and very informative. I needed help with printing and the staff helped. You can use the pool as long you have a wrist band. The casino is literally right across the hotel entrance. There's plenty of parking and it was safe to park at the wee hours of the night. There's a 10min driving distance to Texas Road House and Buffalos Wild Wings."
"Our stay was okay, staff were in fact very friendly. There was a bad storm and our room flooded. When we went to front desk we were just given towels to throw in floor and told there was nothing else that can be done. No other accommodations were offered. We slept in a ramp humid room and were worried that our things would get ruined so we put everything up on the counters and tables and away from windows. We were going to stay 2 nights but decided to leave the next day and the front desk was staff was helpful and apologetic. We were refunded for the second night we didn’t stay. I’m not sure how else that could have been handled but I do feel it could have been handled differently. Maybe comped our stay, offered another room, dry room. However, I do think they were sold out do to all the military graduations."
"Classy older hotel. I use to go to Vegas many years ago and it gave off Union Plaza and Showboat vibes. They were doing some renovation, so there was some minor inconvenience i.e. no ice machine on our floor 2nd floor, but you could see where that area was under construction. Indoor pool was under renovation as well , however the out door pool was open and HUGE! overall property was clean, rooms were well maintained and the staff was friendly. Breakfast is served and tasty and hot. Another thing that may interest visitors, is that the hotel gives off a supernatural feel. Think The Overlook from the Shinning. We loved it, and personally we think the hotel should advertise that element. Great stay overall."
La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lawton / Fort Sill
2/10 Terrible
"I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room did not appear to be properly cleaned, and the mattresses were especially concerning. Upon inspection, we found signs of poor cleanliness and even discovered a bed bug, which is completely unacceptable.
A clean and safe sleeping environment should be the minimum expectation for any hotel guest. Finding a bed bug not only ruined our stay but also caused a great deal of stress and concern about bringing them home with us.
I would strongly recommend that management address their cleaning procedures and have the property professionally inspected and treated. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not stay here again."
