"Greeted with an extremely warm welcome as soon as we arrived. The staff are lovely. The hotel is wonderful, modern bright and airy. Room was very comfortable and clean. The bar area was open and inviting with large sofas. Extensive choice of drinks and bar food. Breakfast was a delicious buffet with lots of food on offer including fresh honey and jams, meats and cheese, cereals, pastries, freshly baked bread and full English. "

"Pleasant stay "

"Fantastic old property that has been sympathetically restored / converted with fantastic rooms. Brilliant breakfast and typical Peak District hospitality….. Easy walk into the village too, where there’s shops and a couple of very good pubs too. We stayed three nights and could easily have stayed longer…. Hell Yeah!"

"Lea Hurst is a fantastic place to stay , Quiet and secluded. The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home. Excellent breakfast and the canal path only 5 minutes walk through the garden. Good location for visiting all of the Peak District. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to return "
