"We stayed in the room with two double beds. It’s at the top of the hotel so the view was good. Bathroom is surprisingly spacious and fancy! We didn’t eat here so can’t comment on that but plenty of pubs in walking distance."
"Exactly what I wanted, what I have expected hearing from my family who have stayed there previously so it was great to have a relaxing time with great service and food "

Rowsley is situated between Matlock and Bakewell Two great little towns. Good shops, park. Bakewell nearby. So good they named a tart after it. (Bakewell tart) Chatsworth House a stones throw away. Great location.

Matlock is a good place to stay if exploring the local area. There are many local restaurants and cafes and we can definitely recommend Zinc Cafe & The Remarkable Hare, Spice and the Red Lion for evening meals.
