"What a gem! This vintage hotel is well cared for and felt modern, while it is filled with antiques and memorabilia. It is clean and the amenities are well-thought-out. The food at the restaurant was fabulous as was the service. And the outdoor patio dining with live music at a volume that you could still carry on a conversation was thoroughly enjoyable. The family, owners and caretakers at this hotel, were the kindest, most generous people I’ve ever met. We truly enjoyed spending time with them. We were able to explore Mount Hood and the surrounding orchards and vineyards. The surrounding areas, including the Columbia Gorge, are stunning making a road tour in the area an absolute must. We were there during moderate outdoor temperatures and the rooms were perfect, but I do suspect that during the winter it could be a little chilly, as it does have the original windows. This would not deter me from staying there. I understand they have special decorations for the holidays and we are already looking at dates to go back. Highly recommend this place."

"Great low key tiny home in a beautiful location. Found a sock and some chapstick in one of made beds upstairs. Appreciated access to public restroom and showers. Showers could use a bench area and shower curtain in order to keep towel and clothing dry. Overall good stay for the price."

"My sister in law stayed 1 night for a girls Night, the first thing we noticed was it smelled so good when we walked in! It’s decorated beautifully! Everyone at the front desk was very friendly there is free on site laundry. Then we got to our room, it smelled like strawberries when I opened the door. It’s just so nice when things are clean and smell nice it’s an extra touch that you wouldn’t think of but it was welcoming. I would definitely stay there again! I highly recommend."

"The staff was SO amazing and accommodating!!! We had to evacuate a through hike, on Mount Hood, due to a storm. We came in soaking wet, freezing and pretty miserable. The staff were so friendly, immediately offered a hot beverage, clean robes, laundry detergent to clean our clothes. They went over and beyond. The suite was more than what we had expected. Loved the property."

"We only spent one night, but my 7 year old and 3 year old lived it. We played in the games tent. They gave us free coffee and it was super homey. The beds were pretty soft, but I recommend bringing a pillow if you can."
