"The room was okay. This was a remodel of an older hotel. The lobby was nice, the exterior was nice, but the room had been smoked in the past, and once that is baked into the walls and carpets, it never comes out. I can always tell because I’m very sensitive to cigarette smoke. The caulk job in the bathroom left some to be desired. The check-in gent was very kind and efficient. "Communication regarding check-in was awful. Room was really cold when I got in. Couldn't lock door at first, had to mess about freeing rhe lock (should not be my job!!) No towels or soap available. No hot water on tap. No tea/coffee making facility, although there was a kettle so at least I could get some hot water, but no cups/mugs. Went down into what I'd believed was a communal lounge & kitchen to be told by a chap who was sleeping in the lounge that it is a private room (No lock on...

"Lovely staff! Comfy room and bed, very clean, silence at most times, you can use the toaster and microwave in their common area and complimentary coffee, tea, water in the room. Stunning nature around the hotel and a beautiful area in the backyard."

"The location of the property is good. However, the staff doesn't understand anything from customer service. They don't know how to treat you. Another problem is that they always close their entrace gate, and when you ring the door, you have wait for minutes for the door to be opened despite they see you outside."
