"There was no staff when I arrived. I took an envelope w my last name on it from the front desk and followed to my room. There was no interaction with any human being so I had no clue what to expect. "I went on a solo cabin trip and it was so relaxed and peaceful! The condition of the cabin was better than I expected it to be and the staff were super friendly and accommodating. "I would avoid this hotel, unless you absolutely have to stay there. It is off the exit, and then a convoluted, series of turns where it sits alone on a hill. Right away one can see it hasn't been maintained well, and the smell of air fresheners are quite strong. Everything in the room seemed worn down, misaligned, unmaintained. "Family Weekend Getaway. This is our 4th time at this property. Our first time was a year ago during Memorial Day Weekend. Although it was a very droopy weekend, Wylder made it an unforgettable moment . Enough to come back several times. May 16 weekend was one if the best, the weather was perfect, the food as always delicious and the staff amazing. Wylder will always be a perfect location with or without kids/furry babies . I am all ready looking for our next weekend getaway. "
