"Great, friendly service by the family hosting the hotel. Fabulous old building, where you could imagine living in a castle. TV didn't work immediately, but in time for the football match. Nice inner yard as well."

"We had a wonderful stay here. It was so peaceful and relaxing. Truly loved the Douro Valley and seeing all their orchards. Breakfasts were perfect and dinner was always delicious. Highly recommend. Great location to get around and see all the valley has to offer. "
