"This is a great little find. Perfect for a family who doesnt want to be on top of one another in a hotel. It's a little far out for a quick walk to the city center, but the area is beautiful safe and quiet. It was a great find for the pinch we were in when the trains were shut down and we didnt have a place to stay."

"Location was amazing, every attraction is within a short few minutes walk. There were pubs, restaurants right below which we did not find noisy. Apartment had a lift, we stayed in apt 13 on the 5th floor with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a balcony with a nice view overlooking the Calton Hill. Checking in was easy with a pin code for the entry gate, lift and apt, felt very safe with CCTV around the common areas. Whole house was fully equipped with heaters, even for the bathroom floors. "No staff, which is fine with me. Easy entry, spacious, clean, excellent location. Apartment basically with good view of the Christmas market. One note on the Attic Flat, have light luggage and be pretty fit. No lift and impressive staircase to get in. Was excellent."

"The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...
