"The rooms are spacious and the staff generally friendly and helpful. Breakfast is a great start to your day with a variety of offerings. The parking lot is adequate, but turning left when you come out to the main road is probably fatal 9 times out of 10, still, that’s probably true of any of the hotels leading up to the mall."

"The first room was just disgusting with someone else's hair in the shower. The second room had an issue with heat. Thermostat is malfunctioning. Not to mention one elevator with long waits to get to and from the lobby. We ate the buffet breakfast thinking it was included and got a $50 bill and my stomach wasn't good couldn't eat my supper and ending the evening with the Diarrhea. I book this think it was a luxury hotel. It was far from that."

"Staff were incredible. The room was generally clean with the exception of toothpaste that was on the bathroom wallpaper and crumbs beneath the glass top on the desk and the chair was soiled. Pool and fitness room were closed during my stay. Wish I had known prior to booking."

"Hotel room and staff were great. However, we had planned the stay with our 2 girls as a night away with swimming and snacks, and upon arrival we were told the pool was out of service. They did give us the option to go to a near by hotel and use their pool, which was great. It just would have been ideal if we had gotten info before our arrival."

"Value is excellent. Location is easy to get in and out of town. About a 25 to 30 min walk to the downtown harbour area or 20 to the nearest shops. Parking is free, if you are visiting at john's, renting a car is the best option imo. The pub is okay, albeit pricey, however everything regarding food and drinks is pricey in this town for some reason. The rooms are clean and comfy, AC can be loud. Laundry on site, however the dryer doesn't dry very well. Staff are helpful and friendly."
