"Booked a room that was supposed to have a refrigerator in it for my elderly father before he could be placed in a nursing home. Found out the day he left (by ambulance) that there wasn’t a fridge in the room after all. I had sent him groceries that included frozen meals (there was a microwave) that he couldn’t keep or eat because of lack of fridge. Also the phone in the room didn’t work so if he needed to make a call he had to go walk down to the front desk (he uses a cane) to do so. ...

"The hotel seemed a bit outdated and there needs to be more handicapped accessible rooms available. We had to be in a regular room with a wheelchair and it made it quite difficult to move around. They’re also we’re only two handicap parking spaces that I could see when I was told there were four because that’s how many rooms you all had."

"When I checked into my room the sheets and covers filthy. Stains were on the counter and hair follicles left all over the sink. The only good thing was the breakfast."

"I liked hotel´s location. It has everything you need for a few days stay. The hotel has laundry facilities, an indoor and outdoor pool, a jacuzzi, and sauna. The area was clean, and clean towels were available. The was ample, well-lit parking and a continental breakfast. The room had air conditioning, and the staff was attentive."

"The sheets and towels appeared to be clean, but the floor was filthy. I had to clean it with a towel after checking in. Shower dribbled like a septuagenarian with prostate issues. Water, what little there was, was hot, so I could was. Noisy neighbor, but that’s not the hotel’s fault, other than this price range brings in a higher percentage of riff-raff."

"I’ve used truckstop bathrooms that were cleaner in the bathroom that we had in our room! That’s not even the worst part, the carpets need to be desperately changed. The entire room smelled of urine. It was difficult for us to even stay in the room. I would’ve left immediately but the entire town of Sandusky had been booked up. I will never say this hotel ever again. I am warning all of those who look for cleanliness, this is not the place."

"The hotel is in an amazing location with beautiful views of the lake, the rooms and all public areas are pristine and clean, & the staff were absolutely amazing. I would not recommend eating at the restaurant, as it's quite overpriced, the menu is quite performative, and the food wasn't that great for the price paid. It is also very small & loud if the patio is not open. That said, it did not deter from how amazing the hotel is. Just find somewhere else to eat during your stay."

"We left after stripping the beds to find all types of stains (my friend thought he got bit by a bedbug, we didnt find any). Some obviously blood some obviously fecal. Also they were small and uncomfortable. The “blankets” were thinner than my sheets at home. I asked for couple of extra pillows and was told they only had 1 spare. The toilet seat did not fit the toilet. The breakfast? Definitely not continental."

"Clean room, excellent breakfast choices—best I’ve seen in a while. Check in lady was VERY GOOD about keeping my room number and information secure from being overheard by the man in line behind me. One real problem. The window in my 1st floor room was UNLOCKED upon arrival. This is SO unsafe. Someone could already have been inside, or someone could have entered during my stay, if I had not checked this. This safety issue should be engrained in every motel/hotel—always ensure that windows are...
