Urban Hive Milano
Stylish, trendy, and friendly hotel. Communicative and helpful staff. I had a nice clean room with a balcony. The location is great too. In a nice area, near to many sites, and not too far a walk to La Scala, the Duomo etc.

Hotel Brunelleschi
I stayed here during the Olympics so was quite expensive (circa £220/night for a double plus €10/night tax) - and room seemed basic for that price. However have to expect it to be dearer then.
