"I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional customer service from Maggie and Angela at The Flat Iron, along with a big thank you to the manager.
I was scheduled to visit this past weekend for a concert but unfortunately came down with COVID. My cancellation fell within the 48-hour window, so I understood that a refund was not guaranteed. Despite that, the team went above and beyond to help me.
Maggie and Angela were incredibly kind, courteous, and genuinely caring throughout the entire process. They didn’t just follow policy—they showed real compassion and took extra steps to assist me, ultimately providing a credit and refund without any hassle.
That level of service is rare and truly appreciated. It’s reassuring to know there are still people who go out of their way to do the right thing.
Even though I wasn’t able to make the trip, this experience alone speaks volumes about the quality of the staff. I’m really looking forward to rebooking soon—the place looks amazing, and I’m sorry I missed it.
Thank you again to the entire team for your kindness and professionalism"
"Everything was perfect from the check-in. Had the room keys ready and let us know what the amenities were and the time for breakfast. The room had bottle of water for each person with some added welcome treats. The TV was easy to use.
The breakfast had a nice selection and the staff kept it through the breakfast period.
One of our most enjoyable stays."
"The room was very nice. Bathroom was beautiful. Beds were comfortable. Staff was very nice. Continental breakfast brought up to the room was a great morning surprise. Location obviously was convenient to everything.
Only complaint is that the free play arcade was awesome, but machines were not that well maintained. Both pinball machines and one of the skeeball machines needed maintenance. Didn’t help that a couple parents were letting their kids run amok and climb all over the machines. Not the hotel’s fault that happened but they really need to make some changes with supervision.
Would absolutely stay again"
