"Receptionist was charming, chatty and helpful despite it being 9pm when we arrived. Attention to the decor in the corridors plus the festive additions made the hotel seem very welcoming. Breakfast was plentiful, varied, tasty and unhurried. "

"The apartment was a great value for its location just outside the Old Town city centre. For tourists, it's about a 15-minute, mostly flat walk to the castle and Royal Mile, etc. The apartment was modern, spacious, clean and warm. All the expected amenities were provided and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Only one small drawback - for travelers counting on the laundry amenities, the dryer was pretty ineffective (washer-dryer combo, design limitation, not a fault). Overall it...

"Excellent location with comfortable and clean accommodations. The Grosvenor suite was very spacious, the bathroom was a bit small, but functional. However, It would not have worked for 2 people. A refrigerator and microwave would be nice at least in a common area. Otherwise everything was top notch. Ryan's pub nearby was fantastic! "
