"Elevator smelled like oil really bad. Pictures make it seem like a nice hotel but much different when you get there. They are putting rock on the outside but it still needs lots of work inside. They need to lower the cost so people don’t think their getting a run for their money."

"If you care at all about cleanliness, do not stay here. We checked in and had to change rooms 3 times because the rooms were FILTHY. In the last room they gave us, I went to the front desk and asked for cleaning supplies so I could clean the room myself.
They had no breakfast during our stay, and the front desk lady said, “That’s why the rooms are discounted.” We paid full price, so I’m not sure what she meant by that.
Do not stay here, I’m telling you — the property is in horrible condition,...

"I did not like the fact that Hampton Inn, Galveston Tx, charges parking fees of $20 per night. That was maybe was a hidden cost unknown to Expedia. I was able to get the night desk to waive the charges, thankfully. LaQuinta in San Antonio also charged me nightly for outside parking which I was dumb enough not to notice until after checkout.
Hope this review alerts future travelers. It seems this is becoming hotel industry policy so be on the alert. It seems fees will be waived if customer...
