"This is clearly a family place, and we felt that from the beginning. We were met at Reception where all the property details were explained. Then we were walked across the property to our cottage to make sure everything was as represented and to answer any further questions. "I would rate this a value place to stay. I felt the price was reasonable for the location. In fact, I loved the area. The grounds were a little un-kept, and the room was acceptably clean. There were several small problems with the wallpaper, calking in the bathroom, old carpet, old stains on the cloth covered chairs, etc. But, again for the price and location I felt this place was acceptable for my purpose. We love Asilomar for its quiet and comfortable atmosphere and its close proximity to Pebble Beach, Carmel, downtown Pacific Grove and Monterey.
