The lady who welcomed us in the reception spoke English and German, one lady in the restaurant spoke German - but the others we met seemed to panic by the language challenge. Parking on the road was easy to find. Plus the fact they couldn’t locate my Expedia reservation check in took well over half an hour. In that period I got ticked because the area around the hotel was restricted residents parking and meter parking was a ways away from the hotel (and you need Czech coins for that). "I was promised a room "on the ground floor" which is what I requested because I have arthritis in my knees and have a problem walking up and down the stairs. Unfortunately, the hotel does not have a normal ground floor. To get to your room on the ground floor you have to negotiate 5 stairs down and then 5 stairs up; that made each trip to and from my room a painful experience."

"Super clean and comfortable place. Beautiful grounds. There was a misunderstanding because of the booking agents listing - the hotel manager was quick to accommodate me even though she wasn't obligated to do so. The pool and hot tub were great! The meals were delicious and glutenfree was provided. I recommend a stay here."
