"Everything was great"

"This was no fault of the hotel staff but when we arrived, some guests were too close to the front door smoking Marijuana. I didn't see it but everyone could smell it. The hotel could use some renovations as we saw water damage on the walls in our room and the inner part of the bath tub was peeling/flaking. The shower's water pressure was terrible. We had double beds and thank goodness because the sheets had black stains on one bed. Hotel staff was amazing, very helpful and personable."

"Room was clean however I was given a room with a broken stove and microwave. I booked from Friday to Monday and had my family. It was a huge inconvenience as I booked this hotel for the kitchen they had to avoid spending so much on outside food during my trip. We weren’t able to be accommodated and moved to another room until Sunday afternoon. They did refund me for the first two nights so I was appreciative for that. Just wish I had a room that worked throughout my entire stay. Otherwise...

"Rooms were comfortable, checking in out was easy. The valet was fantastic. Just feel it was compared to the other Marriott properties here in Norfolk. It’s a little overpriced. Definitely need some updating in the rooms. Some of the rooms were some rust on some things and the bathroom door was damaged on the very bottom but overall a nice stay"

"horrible stay, horrible customer service. i booked for 2 nights only was able to stay 1 night , i was unable to get a partial refund at all. they just kept telling me “there’s nothing we can do we can’t find your booking” I know my review doesn’t do much but i promise i will never stay at this hotel again they will take your money DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"The toilet in our room wouldn’t flush properly. Tried to call the front desk using the phone in the room, but there was no connection to the front desk. There was no bath gel wash in the container in the shower. Lighting in the room is very dim."

"The room was a bit noisy with a pet in the next room. Alarm clock was on from prior guest and woke us up. Heat/air was loud. Flashing light on the ceiling was in my eyes all night. NO ALLERGY OPTIONS FOR CELIACS (gluten free) even though said allergy options, some didn’t for fill breakfast option with my room, frustrating!"

Room furniture was well worn and showed corrosion on metal fixtures,handles and supports. Breakfast by industry standards was continental not buffet as advertised. "Room# 214 This place was dangerously disgusting. With peoples left behind body fluids stain covers and sheets. From stain towels to the haired filled sinks to peeling tubs. You can tell the owner is up for a money grab. Because when you care about your property and reputation you will maintain your property. The maintenance on this property is just horrible. From the un-maintained walls, trim and frames. The beds suck! Room# 126 smells of urine and had stain covers and sheets "
