"I recently stayed at Iron Gate Hotel & Suites and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a lot of charm and thoughtful details throughout the property that make it feel unique and elegant. The location is also very convenient for exploring the city. One thing to note is that my room faced the street, and at night it could get quite loud from outside noise, which made sleeping a bit difficult at times. The staff was overall okay. They were polite and handled what was needed, but I wouldn’t say the service went above and beyond. It felt more like the bare minimum rather than a particularly warm or memorable hospitality experience. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with character and a great atmosphere, especially if you appreciate historic details, but I would recommend requesting a quieter room if possible."

"We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. The best parts of the hotel was the location. It's 1 block away from the town square. Easy walking distance to the Charles bridge, old town, Jewish quarter, concerts. Breakfast was very nice and changed a little each day. Having parking in the location was great. The room itself was very spacious and beds were comfortable. As for negatives, the hotel is tired. O so tired. Hasn't seen a renovation in... forever. Tired carpets. Old kitchen area. Strange keys. The staff are hit out miss. Some are nice but some are so grumpy or downright rude. Lastly, it can be loud. We were on the 1st floor and we were kept awake by the street revelers that are wandering around loud and drunk right below the room. If you have a choice, I'd avoid the first floor rooms on top of havelska st. Not sure how much better others are, but they can't be as bad."

"Excellent hotel!We loved it! Definitely we will stay there again! Breakfast was grea! Location was excellent. Staff were very friendly Specially Dominic and Marcel who were very helprul to us. , "

"Breakfast was very good. Restaurant staff friendly and efficient. Ok . So we had a problem with the air conditioning in the room. We hardly slept the first night, second night was better, third night ok. Could not open the window at night because the street was noisy so we suffered from an overheated room. We were given 2 fans which helped a bit. Hotel management did not engage with us at all until we checked out. The hotel staff tried to be as helpful as possible. The manager insisted that cool air was coming out of the ac unit but it categorically was not. The only assistance we got was late check out. The hotel was in a strange area. A lap dancing/strip club next door and a club sauna opposite. Otherwise a good location for Prague new and old town. To conclude not sold on this hotel and definitely not value for money. "

"People have said the hotel is old. Not to me. It’s perfectly fine and well maintained. Clean. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Showers are excellent. Quiet. Breakfast buffet is great. Plenty of options. Central location right in Wenceslas Square and next to the metro. Grocery stores nearby. Plenty of food options in the area and and two restaurants in the hotel. When I go back to Prague I will be booking this place again. "
