"The hotel was really nice and the staff were very helpful. We were able to check in early as our room was ready and we were able to leave our bags at the hotel after checking out so we could go round the town. The room was very nice, although the fridge wasn't very cold and one of the mattresses was very soft, a bit like a water bed but I slept ok. Breakfast was amazing! The choices and taste, the services was very good and we weren't rushed to eat our food. We didn't use the pool, but I'm...

"Great hotel. Have been coming for years for an annual birthday night out with a group of friends. Guy at reception was very friendly, especially as we were concerned we may not be able to park there as no space, but did manage to in the end. Hotel is great...not the most modern, no, but homely and rooms have always been spacious, clean and welcoming. The bar/club is great for a night out. Would definitely recommend. Very close to town centre and beach too. Well done Royal Exeter!"

"Our stay was really nice we will definitely be coming back . The pool and gym was really nice our room was great we had everything we needed , staff were friendly and helpful . Area was just right as it was only a short walk to town and beach. There was nothing we didn’t like really, we will be coming back 👍."
