5/5 - Excellent
Known as The Honest Town, clean, historic, friendly locals and a lovely harbour area.

The room was decently clean and I appreciated every time they would refresh my room. The bath mat smelled bad but the service was excellent!

This hotel is a gem, is on the royal mile, just outside the of the crazy, you can walk everywhere. The breakfast was amazing, and the breakfast staff was the so kind and considerate. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful as well. The rooms have everything you need. My one and only complaint ...

Nice town, reasonable amount of shops and lovely river walks
There is an ice cream shop in town centre always busy, well worth a visit.
There is no taxi rank at the train station. 3min walk to a bus stop which took us straight into town outside the hotel in no more than 10 minutes. Local couple helped with bus and driver was amazing. Went into Edinburgh by cab approx £20
Musselburgh is a relatively quiet coastal town. There are a number of shop , restaurants, pubs. Good location as a base for exploring area.
