"The staff was very helpful and most spoke English. Breakfast was good, bar was excellent, dinner was excellent. The room was clean and about the only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was the shower, which seems insignificant, but water leaked into the bathroom from every shower, which was annoying."

"Neat and tidy room at a great location. It is a five-minute walk from the train station. There's also a really cute cafe right next to it, so convenient for breakfast. "

"We had a great stay at Meliá Hotel in Bilbao, from our initial welcome, to our lovely meals and snacks in the Level breakfast room and lounge. We felt genuinely cared for each day by the entire staff, especially Nekané, and Yolanda. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. And the location was central to all the activities we were interested in. The park across the street is gorgeous and shady and had lots of activities for children. Indoor self parking was reasonable although the parking structure would have been challenging with a larger vehicle. "

"Check in was easy & very friendly staff, Bar staff we very friendly, rooms were clean but a little small & not enough hangers & no cupboard / draw space. Reception lounge area was fabulous & great 2 sit & relax & have a drink. Bit out of it but Metro just around the corner & only 1 stop to old town, get a metro card as it is so cheap & easy to use. "

"Great location, close to everything. Friendly, helpful staff. Welcome drinks and complementary food and drinks at their excellent bar was a great surprise. Upgrading to river view was a smart move as it gave a nice view and lots of light. Nice to have a gym as well. All in all, a great experience, highly recommend!"
