"The staff were exceptionally kind and welcoming. The hotel is beautiful. Our private onsen was something out of a movie. And it’s a superb place for kids — many fun little treats everywhere. Very much recommend. However, if your kid is an adventurous eater, make sure they do not serve them the kids meal Kaiseki. It is definitely subpar fast food level. Pre-order the adult version because you can’t change on the spot."

"Great stay for a family of four with kids 4 & 6. A calm, relaxing property with friendly staff and tasty Japanese food options we all enjoyed. Kids loved the Onsen bath in the room & wearing katana to dinner. Shuttle bus service was brilliant. I’d recommend taking some small activities to dinner for the kids as it can be a 2hr sitting. "

"OK. I’m going to start with the tough part: I can’t understand how the door locks on the room can be allowed. They are not at all safe. The door can be locked FROM THE OUTSIDE by someone else, and the people inside can be locked into their room!! Massive fire hazard. The mgmt really do need to look into a different system. Secondly, the door “lock” from the inside is insuffient: it is like a very small/wimpy latch that could easily be rendered useless by an intruder. As two women travelling...

"初めてドミトリーを利用したが、たまたま他のお客さんが来ず静かに寝泊まりできた。他のお客さんに全く会わずにシャワーや洗面台を利用できた。寝具も快適。トイレも目の前良かった。コーヒーサービスもありがたかった。しかし、ドミトリーは最初で最後で、利用することは二度とないと思う。23時までチェックイン可のためずっと落ち着かなかった。２段ベッドの登り降りが面倒くさい。部屋の暖房調整は、他のお客さんがいたら気をつかう。扉入り口の鍵がない、外の玄関は出入り自由なので逆に怖かった。
数千円高くても絶対施錠付きのシングルルームを選びますね。"

"The rooms, sheets, and towels were clean. The staff and host were AMAZING AND LIVELY! The kitchen was clean and they even made breakfast and dinner for me! I stayed during a cooler season so just having the window open was perfect. I really appreciate the kindness and hospitality of the host, Bushi. To me it was an amazing experience I will NEVER forget. Thank you so much!"
