"We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on....

"It is a pub with accommodation upstairs. Has a good parking space. Spacious room with good bed to sleep. One thing I noticed was shower power was low."

"Despite very nice staff ... I wouldn't want to come back here. The bed was so hard and lights shining under the door - as well as being boiling hot meant I had an DREADFUL night's sleep. We could find no controls for the heating and the room was like an oven. Opening the window was impssible as noisy ventilation pumps were right outside . Staff said the room did get very hot. I think it was room 15 ...... AVOID AVOID AVOID The bed was far too hard "

"Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...
