"This stay felt more like a motel than a hotel, which wasn't what I was expecting during my New England road trip.
Unfortunately, the blanket had a cigarette burn from a previous guest, and two of the three bath towels still had hair on them. That made me feel uneasy about the cleanliness of the room.
The front desk staff also seemed annoyed during check-in, which didn't make for the warmest first impression. Overall, I wasn't very happy with my stay. Thankfully, I was only there for one night."

"The floors were dirty in the bathroom. Bed sheets had what appeared to be stains! Not sure the bedding/ linen was clean. Smelled like mold and so did I and my clothing! People smoking at entrance from the back resturant made me nauseated.and it followed you into the building. Very run down and old!"

First night there the entire place smelled of weed, shampoo dispenser completely empty, conditioner a quarter of the way full. Floors not swept or mopped (misc plastic garbage pieces/ caps visible) chair stained.."

"An absolutely beautiful property and staff were incredibly kind and helpful!
We had a late arrival and the two young gentlemen were waiting at the dock and they helped my sister and I with all our bags.
The entire property was very clean and there were incredible views of the water and golf course.
Looking forward to returning!"

"Old somewhat charming inn. The staff was uniformly helpful and pleasant, by far the best part of the stay. BUT to get to our room required climbing a very steep staircase with luggage --beware elders. The room was goid-sized and clean with a fridge and microwave, BUT there was no closet (only a hall tree with one wire coat hanger), lights were dim, TV had limited channels, bathroom sink had only a slight trickle of water. Charm without amenities has its limits!"

"My family and I went here to celebrate my 45th birthday. This hotel was perfectly located only six minute walk to the pier. The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. It was perfect for my four people family. The pool was awesome and warm and relaxing. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We can’t wait to visit again. Thank you to the host for keeping such a well-maintained room. We had so much fun."

"This is a great place to stay. Everything was outstanding. I had only 1 issue and that was just a slow draining shower. I told them at the front desk I was leaving for a bit and could they look at it. Indeed when I returned in 2 hours it was working fantastic. Room was very clean, shower was hot and had lots of pressure. I will stay here again for sure if I pass through Maine in the future. Very nice and courteous staff all the way around as well. Beats a lot of pricier hotels I have...
