"I think we were expecting all of the modern amenities of a N. American Holiday Inn, but the space was extraordinarily tight, very small bathroom/shower, no a/c and just a desktop fan to move air. The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable. I do feel like the space was clean, and the breakfast was nice. The staff was friendly, and it wasn’t their fault that there was a very loud tour group also staying. The location is a convenient stop off the highway, where there are several food options....

"We had a great time staying at AVA hotel and our room which was a junior suite had plenty of space and Yvonne was wonderful and very helpful. The only things that we recommend to add are first and foremost air conditioning which is lacking in most properties in Switzerland and as the temperatures are constantly getting warmer it is becoming a necessity and not a luxury.
