A great experience. Check in was easy, and the room itself was wonderful. Exiting out the back door led directly to the pool, and the courtyard was easy enough to access through the French quarter. Amazing location and appropriately priced. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Would 1000% come back.

Let me start off by saying, if you're looking for accommodations in New Orleans this is the place to be! This is by far my favorite stay in any city I've ever visited. When you first go to the door there's a buzzer. Once you make your reservation they will send you the code. It was like your own personal oasis in the middle of the french quarter. We went in through the door past a small staircase that led upstairs. The front desk is on the left, our room was on the right, number five, the Andrew Jackson room which was a nice touch seeing as we came from Tennessee! We go into a very nice living room that has a door straight across that lead directly to the courtyard with deck chairs and very nice pool. I can honestly say the pictures on their website are 100% accurate representation of the property! There is also a small alleyway corridor with a locked door that leads directly out into the French Quarter streets, and after a long night of dancing and many hurricanes it was a secret entrance back to our humble abode. The front desk staff is very nice and accommodating with great recommendations of the city. They even keep an ice cold picture of water in the lobby for you as you head out on your next adventure, cause New Orleans! I cant wait to return to the Crescent City and I will definitely be staying at Chateau Orleans!

The bathroom in our room had a very strong Urine odor as it was soaked into the floorboards. We alerted the front desk. The complementary coffee station was pathetic. Tiny styrofoam cups. The urine odor was a show stopper for us!

The unit wasn’t clean, bedsheets were dirty. Not that something you expect after long road trip, you just want to get into your room and crash. Next door building has a fan, that working non-stop 24/7, not like you expecting quiet environment in French quarter, but the fan is something else, loud menace.

Use the app SpotHero for parking - it worked great for us - locating covered parking a four-minute walk away. We arrived, unloaded, and parked for our time in this part of the city. Remember the code they send you to get in. Great location - our room was really nice and we would stay here again. If you are into jazz and the night scene - it's within walking distance. We were there over St. Patricks day and they were tossing out beaded necklaces (like Mardi Gras) so we came home with a bunch of those - fun souvenirs.

Love the area for a day or two stay. We had the penthouse room, tight and small but nice for the two nights we stayed. Only complaint is that since it is an old place there is mold (tiny bit) and the air vents aren’t clean. The area is so convenient and there is a bunch of different types of people staying there so it has been nice to see families hanging around the pool :)
