Really great location, clean and perfectly located in the French quarter! Easy walk to all the French quarter highlights and hangouts! Clean and friendly staff, really nice bar and pool, will have to come back in the summer!

Staff was easy going and made the stay very pleasing. We loved the privacy of the Carriage Room we had, it felt more private, as it had its own area BJ was great working the garage for our vehicle May Baileys that’s connected to hotel has some interesting history too

We reserved the carriage house room was very nice very clean plenty of room for me and my wife huge shower loved the classic New Orleans style of our room and the hotel you could feel the history in the building and it was right in the heart of the French quarter we were one block from bourbon st and was able to walk almost to everywhere we wanted to visit also maye baylies was awesome perfect spot to start and end you night drinks were magnificent best in the French and the bar tenders we top notch and breakfast in the morning there was pretty good too we will definitely be back and recommend to all

Such a quaint place, really inviting courtyards, the rooms were surprisingly quiet for being in the French quarter Beds were comfy, front desk and manager were so helpful! I only wish there was a little bit more offering/variety on the breakfast buffet (ie: bananas, hard boiled eggs, there was no yogurt the first 2 mornings, more bread options)

Staff was great. Hotel is very old, but serviceable. Very loud at night, no fault of staff, but trash trucks arrive between 2 and 3 am, and make a huge racket. Wear earplugs to sleep. Otherwise, a good stay.

We have stayed at the Dauphine for many years. It is starting to slowly fall into disrepair, and I hate it because the staff is excellent! The location is perfect - towards the northern part of the Quarter but in the middle (one street north) of Bourbon. We stayed in the main part of the hotel. I would suggest the other options which are newer if you can afford the higher rate.
