Stay on 2/13 – Do Not Recommend this hotel, ever!
Our room (307) was overpriced $198, apparently for Mardi Gras. It was dirty, and had a strong odd smell that other reviews for this exact room have mentioned, so management clearly hasn’t addressed it. My husband went to the front desk to ask for a blanket (none on the bed); he and another customer witnessed the attendant on the phone arguing with a customer on the phone about their bill. When he asked her for a blanket, she replied, “It’s not Wyndham’s policy to provide blankets on the beds”. He said he didn’t care about the policy, just needed a blanket. The other customer that was waiting witnessing everything said that is absolutely not their policy. She returned with the blanket, handed it to him and said “what’s up with everyone’s attitudes today” He had an ice cream he was going to purchase, she barked that he’d need to pay cash for it which he had. He put it back and said he wasn’t hungry anymore.
Note that the afternoon attendant that helped us when we arrived was polite, but the evening experience and lack of cleanliness made this one of our worst hotel stays. We cannot recommend this hotel.
