"The Crystalbrook in Newcastle was a pleasant stay for a weekend. The rooftop bar was great, though very busy and they weren't wrong - you need to book for dinner! The room was great, everything is fairly new so it was clean and not worn out. Location is walkable to lots of local attractions, Darby St and the waterfront are all walkable if you're able to. "

"Central to everything, we walked to the civic theatre to watch a show. Many options to eat out, 5 min drive to beach The pizzas at the ori are delicious, staff were all genuinely happy and helpful. "

"Clean and well kitted out room including kitchen, washing machine and dryer. Bathrrom beautiful but taps very difficult to use in shower (not suited for anyone with arthritus). Fantastic location for waterfront walks and dining on Newcadtle Harbour "

"Great 3 to 4 star hotel. Unfortunately they advertise it as 5 star and charge accordingly. Front desk understaffed snd waited to check in and out, "City views" in a $450 room were of the side of the town hall, windows were filthy, room was small and dominated by a bed with sofa and table an afterthought, no desk or bathtub. Luckily restaurant was well worth it."

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Newcastle. Great place for families!"

"Love the internal garage, homely feel to the place, excellent facilities, could really live there forever. Lovely view of the sun setting from the balcony, my only negative is the balcony is looking straight into other peoples backyards, but apart from that it is in a really central location and scenic area"
