"The staff told us children eat breakfast for free but failed to mention that it only applied with adults were also eating. This is poor communication and we wouldn’t have allowed the children to eat there if we’d know."

Poor points: The room was pretty sparse and lacking any warmth or character as were the rest of the facilities. We didn’t try the Spa or Golf, so can’t comment on this. gym, sauna, hot tub type facilities (which I would be happy to pay for) are pretty standard in most ‘Spa’ hotels so I felt a bit cheated. "An excellent option for a quick overnighter while travelling up or down the country. Room was clean and beds comfortable. The bar / restaurant area looked perfectly clean and tidy, although we didn't use it. It is next door to themsim sevices building with multiple eating / snack purchaing ptions too. The services also has electric fast charge points a short walk from reception. Staff that we saw were warm and friendly. "

"Absolutely amazing! Beautiful place, very comfy bed, silent room, great amenities (sauna, swimming pool, jaccuzi), stunning customer service, Entela was really kind and the waiting staff as well, delicious buffet, plenty of options! Loved every minute."

"Mixed reviews overall, my room was generally pretty clean however, I found a hair in the bathroom that definitely wasn't mine as it was about 6 inches long onnthe tiles of the shower, the window didnt stay open without wedging something underneath it, decor was tired and the TV was no bigger than a PC monitor and looked lost on the wall and wasnt vaguely visible from the bed and everytime the fridge in the room clicked on and off it turned the TV off and on again (annoying to say the least). "This historic inn was clean and not too fancy. The location is great for exploring Thame. It’s also part of the Midsomer Murders” tour which was fun. Breakfast - made to order- was excellent and plentiful. We’d stay here again. "

"The hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Despite being next to the A34 my room was quiet. The location was actually good and only a 5 minute walk via the service station car park to the bus stop at the park and ride. "

"Staff were lovely and breakfast was well cooked. Surprised it was a buffet breakfast. We had a really good rate so absolutely no complaints. It was starting to look a little tired, with build up in the corners of the bathroom around the shower, and chips in the walls and paintwork of our room. The view on the top floor is lovely and made for a nice touch to visiting family where I’d originally grown up."
