"Hotel Le Negresco is without a doubt the most beautiful hotel in Nice. We stayed for 4 nights and the location, service and style is 5 stars. I have one complaint regarding the hotel bathroom. Our room had a very large bathroom with a beautiful claw foot tub - but no shower. The tub had a hand held nozzle with no place to rest it while showering (if you put it on the cradle water will spray onto the floor) and the shower curtain only closed 75%. "Hotel was situated in a good location in the centre of Nice, 10 min walk to the train station, 10 mins to the beach and 10 mins to the Main Street which was perfect. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly, especially Salim on the nights who was great at answering any questions we had. Room was comfortable and bathroom was in good condition. "Great location next to the train. A bit of a walk to the promenade but it gives you a nice chance to explore beautiful Nice. My only concern was housekeeping. They only clean your room before 11 upon request. I’ve stayed many times in France and didn’t have this issue. Lots of food options around the area and a market a few blocks down the street."

"Hotel in the mountains, we chose this because it showed rooms with balconies overlooking the mountains but we were put in a room with no balcony in the back with other people's houses looking down at us, no privacy. Manager also put us on an upper floor room and didn't offer a lower floor as she watched two 65 plus year old try to drag our suitcase up the stairs. Also they claim to have a restaurant but it is not open. This was the only hotel we regretted staying at in our 2 month trip staying...

"The inside of the building and apartment itself could be a little cleaner. Also, there isn’t a laundry room as advertised. They charged for the use of the beach towels. The location is amazing."
