"Very ‘old school’ facility that’s been around 50+ years… but, is simple, clean and very nice staff!!! Close by to downtown Hilo and is in a residential area. The fresh coffee, papaya & banana bread in the morning was very ono!!! We’ll definitely stay here again with our ohana on our next weekend trip to Hilo."

"We absolutely loved the location and the beautiful common areas at Hilltop Legacy — peaceful surroundings and stunning views! The host was very friendly and even took time to chat with us and share some great local recommendations. The bathroom didn’t have a vent, so it could get a bit musty after use, and we missed having a microwave and an iron.
