Top Niseko Hotel Reviews

Niseko Konbu Onsen Tsuruga Besso Moku No Sho
8/10 Good
"LOVED the private outdoor hot tub (露天風呂). Room was spacious and clean. We slept with the windows open to hear the running river. And the public bath was also quite nice. The food was a little pricey for the quality. But everything else was exceptional. "

One Niseko Resort Towers
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent room (4 of us in a suite) for a good price during peak ski season. Onsen was fantastic. Easy access to skiing. Free onsite parking. Car not necessary, but definitely helps to get around the area."

Hotel Kanronomori
8/10 Good
"I stayed here for a trip to Niseko, which is about a 30-minute drive away. The hotel has some wonderful highlights, but also a few downsides to consider.
The Highlights:
• Stunning Views: The breakfast was a highlight! The restaurant overlooks a snowy landscape that looks like something straight out of a fairytale. The breakfast selection was also quite good.
• Great Amenities: They offer lovely extras like complimentary soda, tea, and ice pops. There’s also a microwave available, which was very convenient for heating up quick meals after a tiring day of skiing.
• Atmosphere: I really enjoyed the live music performances held in the lobby every evening—it added a very nice touch to the stay.
• Parking: Free parking is available right across from the lobby, though you'll need to find your own spot.
The Downsides:
• Onsen & Cleanliness: While they have an onsen, the washing area was not very clean, and the space felt a bit cramped. It also tended to get quite loud inside.
• Room Condition: I stayed in a Japanese-style room, which was very spacious, but unfortunately, it felt a bit dated and not as clean as I would have liked.
Overall, the scenery and free perks are fantastic, but the cleanliness in the common areas and rooms could definitely be improved."

Hinode Hills Niseko Village
10/10 Excellent
"This is such a well run hotel and every staff member from the cleaning crew, to the front desk, to the restaurant, to the ski valets are just wonderful. Our stay was so relaxing and easy. The rooms have everything you need. The beds are so comfortable, the rooms are spotless, and the kitchens well appointed. There are very few hotels I’ve ever been keen to return to in my travels, but this is definitely one we’ll return to when we visit Hokkaido again. Thank you! "

Country Inn Milky House
6/10 Okay
"We stayed as a family of four for 5 nights.
PROS:
- location was great, within walking distance to Anapuri
- the breakfast was great and changed daily which was nice
- the shared bathroom was clean
- it did feel family friendly and we liked meeting other folks in the common area
CONS:
- our room was ok - the heater and fridge didn’t work and it was clean-ish
- you have to walk through the dining area to access the communal showers which felt odd
- the staff also utilized the common areas so sometimes it was hard to know who was actually working and it felt like we were an inconvenience at times when we were asking for things like coffee in the morning
- in general, we felt the service was lacking for what we paid
"

Niseko Northern Resort An'nupuri

The Green Leaf Niseko Village, Tapestry Collection by Hilton
10/10 Excellent
"Amazing Onsen"

The Lodge Moiwa 834
10/10 Excellent
"The staff are simply amazing "

Higashiyama Niseko Village, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve
8/10 Good
"From my suite and bathtub, I had a stunning mountain view. The room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The staff were cordial and polite. Although, I do wish the staff showed more Japanese culture customer service toward information and concierge services. Being at a Ritz Carlton Reserve hotel, I think the sophistication and quality of the onsen, gym, spa and in-house skiwear boutique weren't up to par. Those areas felt like I was at a Marriott hotel instead of a Ritz Carlton Reserve."
