Room was comfortable if not luxurious. Staff was helpful and the owner went out of his way to assist with any issues. A little out of the way. Definitely recommend renting a car but driving in Aruba is pretty straight forward. For a short notice booking I was happy.

What an amazing time we had. Reggie was a delight to be in communication with. He was extremely helpful and fun to talk to. We will definitely be returning. Location is excellent close to everything. Bed was comfortable. Place was very clean

A fantastic place to stay! It is located in a nice area, well furnished, and has ample kitchen supplies. No oven but really nice bbq's. The master bedroom doors opened up to the best saltwater pool ever! Very nice staff. Desere lives across the street and provided an early check-in knowing our other rental had an early check out. l would highly recommend the Canucu Residece.

Overall we had a very good experience staying here. They were so friendly and so helpful. Our suite was excellent and well equipped with everything we needed… even a cooler for going to the beach. We were close to everything. I highly recommend staying here.

Maybe Im overreacting but there was no way to contact staff, no "reception" area, and is far from all amenities. I chose this place because it stated I would have Expedia VIP benefits (a bottle of wine) and that seemed nice to unwind after a stressful day. But there was no wine. No person to contact. No nearby stores. I was majorly disappointed because it wasn't the experience I was expecting when I booked.

I would recommend staying here over and over again. If you're not one that needs the big resort on the beach but enjoys simple and peaceful, this is for you! Check in was easy, we had a kitchen, the ac was amazing, we had our own poolside space. It was great. I would recommend having a rental vehicle, you aren't walking distance to shopping or beaches but you are a short drive to the beaches. Our host was hands down one of the kindest and most accommodating to all of our needs while there. She helped us with places to go, shared with us about Aruba and taught us a few things. Her warm spirit made our stay 100 times better! I dont think you would find this in a large resort. This listing says there is a bar and i can say that there is not. But if you'd like a drink, there seems to be no shortage along the beach or at any of the local supermarkets. Overall I'd without hesitation book here again! One happy island!
