"This hotel is a gem in the Jordaan area. If you really want to get a good feel of Amsterdam, this is your place. It's walking distance to many attractions. The canal is right outside. The rooms are clean, the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. They have a nice eating area with daily pastries and drinks for you. And the best was it was air-conditioned. I made a great choice staying here."

Walk to central station, walk to museums like Van Gogh and the modern art museum. room was super comfrotable and didn't feel cramped at all. beautiful and interesting artwork everywhere, lovely courtyard for sitting, eating, drinking, perfect for families. Staff was very lovely and helpful when asked. cleanliness was top marks. We really enjoyed our family stay and would come again."

"The concierge who was working Friday and Saturday was the most miserable and unhelpful person I have encountered. If you are young and pretty, he is all over you and can’t do enough, but if you are “older” he is not interested in helping. I was disinclined to ask him anything as he was very surely. However, the concierge that was on duty on Sunday was very pleasant and most helpful."
