"The hotel building itself wasn’t bad but the property and surrounding area was scary. Homeless people everywhere. I was traveling with just my daughter and I and decided it wasn’t safe for us to stay there. We didn’t even check in so I can’t say what the interior of this location is like. When we pulled in the first thing I saw was a large homeless population and security guards wondering the property during the day which can give you an idea of what the crime rate in the area is. "I was there in March hoping for a nice experience as this hotel has been a lovely place in the past. First the power went out for a day. No hot water, no anything that included power. No offer for a credit or refund for the wasted day. Housekeeping was abysmal. I had no service at all that I could tell for 3 of my 5 nights the hotel. I paid extra for a view room which was also a corner unit that was great. BUT…Cobwebs all over the ceilings even in the bathroom. Drapes were in sad condition...

"The hotel was nice inside, but there were a lot of homeless individuals outside, and they blocked the entrance to the parking lot where we had to maneuver around groups of them to get to the parking lot. There is a a vacant building right there that seems to be the hangout. It didn't feel very safe outside. "A/C worked fine, room was relatively clean, bed was comfortable, tv worked good, had a mini fridge, no carpet, nice shower. Outside was a bit scummy with lots of litter and spilled coke that was never cleaned up. Inside bathroom window had no lock and no screen. I was alone, but I know if my wife had been there she wouldn’t feel safe and I wouldn’t leave anything in the room of value when I went out. Manager didn’t seem concerned about window not locking. "

"I enjoyed my stay and everything was clean and well maintained. However, I phoned the front desk (twice using the "0" on the room phone and once using the local phone number) and the phone was never answered. I figured out the issue with my TV and other questions. But it would have been nice if someone would answer the phone at the front desk."

"Breakfast was amazing. The lady running that dining room is so sweet. I did not appreciate the guy from the front coming in and yelling at her to hurry up when there was plenty of food available. So unprofessional and rude. Also nobody was available at the front when it came time to check-out. "
