"We stayed for 2 nights: our rooms are very quiet, the AC in the rooms are also very quiet. It seems the Japanese hotels are able to manage their air vents much better than most American hotels. The showers are very very good, bed sheets and pillows are comfortable. WiFi is fast. There's 1 thing I would like the hotel to improve: the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired: they obviously try to cater to the white people, but bakeries taste all stale, even the bread on their made to order avocado toast tastes like Safeway bread that expired a week ago. One waiter speaks English, but was curt, rude, unhelpful. Coffee was similar to pot coffee in a 2 star American hotel."

"Check in & out was so quick & easy, especially checking out - you just put your key card into a machine & you’re done. The hotel is in a great area as indicated by the ‘What did you like?’ section above. The rooms were always cleaned & restocked with bottled water, towels, etc. "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay the the Kyoto Brighton Hotel. First off, the staff are amazing - wonderful service, so helpful. The rooms are great - very roomy and the amenities are wonderful! The breakfast, both Japanese and western were great as well. We would definitely stay at the Kyoto Brighton again and highly recommend it. Exceptional hotel!!"

"We stayed at the Blossom Kyoto during a family trip and love it! It was conveniently located about 17 min walk away from Kyoto Station and a 24 hour grocery store. The hotel was clean and decorated to modern taste with a touch of Japanese traditional feel. Our room had two large twin sized beds next to each other which was equivalent to a Cal King in the U.S. We decided to explore restaurants in the area but the hotel also offers a restaurant in the first floor. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return to the hotel."
