"I really wanted to enjoy my stay here. The location of the hotel is good and the outside aesthetics were nice. However my room accommodations were awful! The room was located near the highway and widows were not sound proof. Therefore I heard the noise from the highway ALL night. In addition to this, the hvac system was directly across from the bed, so you heard the LOUD sound when the system turned on and off. Between those two things I got little sleep and was exhausted. When I complained about these conditions I was only given a minimum amount of “points” added to my rewards. What would have been a fair exchange for my unpleasant stay is if I was given at least enough points for a future free stay at any Marriott hotel that was of equal value. But I guess that would be too good to be true that I the consumer would be treated with fairness by a large corporation. "

" I recently stayed at your Northlake location from April 4th to April 7th and wanted to share feedback regarding my experience. Unfortunately, there were several issues during my stay. The water from the shower was brown, the kitchen exhaust fan grill had been removed and left in the sink, and I encountered a cockroach crawling in the kitchen area. I reported these concerns to the front desk at the time, and while a note was taken, there was no follow-up during my stay. At checkout, I was asked about my experience and raised these issues again. I was informed that compensation in the form of points for an additional night stay would be provided; however, I have yet to see this reflected in my account. (Only to find via chat no points earned bc I booked through Expedia)... I would appreciate it if someone could review my stay and advise whether points, a credit, or any follow-up action will be provided. "

"Room carpet dirty. Smell bad. They have a bar of soap in the shower bathroom from I don’t know how long time ago. Look so old. They need spend more time cleaning the restroom "

"The guy at the front desk was nice. That was about it. Near the headboard on the floor there was a mysterious liquid, it looked like spit. It smelled very strongly & unpleasant, especially in the room. There was also a lot of activity in & out of the building. The laminate flooring in the bathroom was bubbling up, hardly attached to the floor. Trip hazard. I walked into the room and then checked out without laying in the bed. I travel for work so I stay in hotels A LOT, I mean this when I say this… I wouldn’t book."
