The good. Exceptional view. Saw whale. Peaceful and quiet. The inside of the house was well cleaned and updated, though some of the updates look incomplete in the kitchen. The furniture is getting a bit worn. The curtain rod over the living room sliding glass door is about to fall off. The master bath towel holder fell off the wall. There are no curtains on 2 of the kitchen windows.
The bad. The outside of the house looks terrible, rundown. The yard doesn't look anything like the pictures. It was overgrown with grass, the deck needs re-staining, all the outside furniture was worn out, junk all around. There is a huge sand dune on one side of the yard. And because of all the sand, all of the windows had sand in them, so if you open them, sand will blow in, and then they are hard to close.
They asked for a pet fee the day before. Then the access code isn't delivered until 2 hrs before, or you can pay extra to receive it before then, which just seemed like a scam.
The view is worth a million dollars. The inside is nice enough. The outside of the house is a wreck.
