"The room was nice.
Once we were settled in for night we noticed the room wasn't thoroughly cleaned (there were signs) and I contacted the hotel in the morning and they offered to fully clean the room or move us. We accepted the deep clean. I appreciated how they fixed the situation.
Please note that you can't adjust the temperature in the room. The thermostat is locked. I reached out to have it unlocked and they said that wasn't possible. As a perimenopausal woman I found it difficult to sleep....

"WHAT a discovery! I loved my stay at Canalside -- the room was beautifully updated, but still had those historic squeaky wooden floors that remind everyone to be a little quieter (it worked!). The coffee maker produced great morning joe; the shower got hot almost immediately; the bed linens were soft and the towels were a perfect blend of absorbent and scratchy.
