"The room was clean and comfortable, we didn't use the pool or hot tub but both looked very nice and well maintained. Dinner at Tradewinds was lovely and the breakfast restaurant was not yet open for the season. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The hotel is close enough to the boardwalk to be an enjoyable walk and the beach was beautiful!"
"I had a pretty great stay here but there are a few things I’d love to share that I saw other reviewers mentioned as well. For whatever reason our room did not have a functional AC unit, we had to inform the lobby and they instructed us they put in a ticket to get someone to turn it on however no one ever came or repaired it, the room was 71 degrees throughout our entire stay. Not very comfortable for sleeping - we could not open our window as it was crawling with critters and no screen. I’d like to note as well, the gentleman in the front desk stated that the AC unit had to be triggered by maintenance in order to truly turn on the air- stating that the control panel in the room does not fully turn it on, again this is something someone else mentioned too.
Despite this, I am really pleased and would love to give this hotel another try! The ambiance and overall vibe are really inviting and the front desk folks and Valet were extremely pleasant. We got to enjoy some Coffee up front as well and it was very well made!
I would love to come back and potentially try another room that has AC throughout the summer."
"Didn’t have WiFi our entire stay with them they claimed it was down all 3 days phones were not getting service in rooms.. the cable tv was also down and I called to complain 3 times about teenagers running around the hallways and slamming doors at midnight it went on for hours. Seriously ridiculous haven’t had such a bad experience staying at an hotel in a while."
"They didn’t have my reservation when I tried to check in despite having a confirmation number from hotels.com and calling the hotel directly to reconfirm the week prior to my trip.
Also, the second night there was a rager happening in the room next door (screaming, massive base courtesy of a soundsystem they also played in the hallway) No one picked up when I tried to call the front desk the first time, once I got someone on the line after trying a half hour later it stopped momentarily and then continued even louder till almost 1am - I was hoping to escape the city to get a good night sleep but wasn’t able to."
"Very limited breakfast choices although it is free. Bathroom was dirty, towels looked used, and bed sheets had some stains. WiFi did not work well. Parking lot entrance was confusing, there should a do not enter sign on the first entrance since the arrows on the road indicate one way. Price is decent for one night stay."
