"The personnel keep the facilities pristine, doing maintenance every day, the room were perfectly clean anc organized every time we came back to rest. the breakfasts are delicious, not to mention the food from the hotel's restaurant. "⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 1000% RECOMMEND. A Little Slice of Heaven in Roatán! 🌴💙 Puerta Azul was hands down one of the BEST parts of our Roatán experience! From the moment my friend and I arrived, we felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at home. The hospitality here is something truly special. The rooms are adorable, spotless, cozy, and the beds are incredibly comfortable. The FOOD was hands down some of the best we had in Roatán! Every meal was fresh, delicious, and made with care. The property is paradise. The patio is perfect for relaxing, the private beach is beautiful, and the dock with hammocks over the Caribbean Sea is absolutely breathtaking. I could have stayed there forever! Most importantly, a heartfelt THANK YOU to Noel, Talia, the wonderful kitchen staff, night staff, and cleaning staff. 💙 You each played a part in making our stay unforgettable. Thank you for your kindness, your smiles, your conversations, the incredible meals, and all the little things you did every day to make us feel so comfortable and cared for. You made Puerta Azul feel less like a hotel and more like our little home in Roatán. We will never forget you! If you are considering Puerta Azul, BOOK IT! 1000% recommend. "Truly the most beautiful beach we saw during our entire time on the island. This private island is absolutely gorgeous. The beach alone makes it worth the visit. The rooms could use some updating, and the food felt more like filler food than anything memorable. That said, the drinks kept coming and the beach was easily the best we experienced anywhere on the island. If you want to avoid crowds and simply enjoy a stunning beach in a peaceful setting, this resort is a great choice. Unfortunately, you will need to wait for them to rebuild. The resort actually burned to the ground the same day we checked out. Quite a shocking end to an otherwise beautiful stay."
