"A nice clean room with a comfy bed and nice bedding. Room 4 is pretty small and I was only in it on my own and struggled a bit for space. The two chairs provided have low backs so personally for me, not comfy. A bigger, higher table or unit would be much better for making tea and coffee. The small table was so low and awkward. Overall a good stay though!"

"Spacious, comfortable room. Staff need a few lessons in manners, attentiveness and dress code. Breakfast okay, nothing to write home about. Staff wore jeans, trainers and blouses, not quite what I would have expected. One member of staff in breakfast room rather rude. We ordered breakfast both without sourdough toast and asked for brown toast separately. Breakfast arrived served on top of brown toast, not separate as requested. I said we had asked for it separate and she went to take plate away. I said just to leave it and bring toast separately. She returned with one slice in a toast rack. I said I had requested toast for 2 on the side. She grabbed the toast rack and said if you tell me what you want I will get it. Strange I thought I already had! Had requested a room with bath in message to hotel prior to arrival. None available but not even acknowledged by Receptionist, just said none available. At checkout we weren't asked how our stay was, but did offer have a nice day as we were leaving. Such a shame, as this used to be our go to Hotel in Oban since it first opened, but that is definitely our last visit"

"Room was clean and had a view of the ocean. Overall, very noisy doors seaming, showers in other rooms all hours of the night. I was closer to the back where there seemed to be a lot of people coming and going despite there only being 4 rooms. "
