"Ok, so first things first: REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS! This is an $80 per night beach hotel room, not the Four Seasons, so be real in your expectations. (Like, I saw another review complain about sand...dude, it's a BEACH TOWN!) All we needed was a place to sleep that was within walking distance of the beach/boardwalk, and this was it. Two-block walk, decent-sized bathroom, decent-sized fridge, microwave. and cold AC. I would definitely recommend getting at LEAST the room with the two double beds (the single bed room is REALLY small). A few things to know before you go: first, BRING THE PHYSICAL CREDIT CARD with you that you used to make the booking. If not, you have to use another one, be charged the full amount again, and get a refund for your booking deposit (which they did process after a few gentle reminders). Second, this place is BRIGHTER than the SUN at night. Like, so bright we had to go out and buy sleep masks. Room-darkening curtains would be a great improvement. And third, there's no balcony, so this isn't a place where you can sit outside at night and "people watch," hang out, etc. There are no chairs on common deck areas, and when we tried to sit on our beach chairs, they kicked us off and said no sitting outside after 9pm, which was a bummer, but rules are rules, so I get it. Overall, I would recommend and would stay again."
