"Wow! What a beautiful spot. My communications with the hotel prior to arriving were great and such friendly responses. When we arrived we were amazed how easy it was to park at the hotel. We arrived early and headed over to the wonderful Bar Motta for amazing pizza while our room was being made ready. The front desk staff were just as friendly in person. Our room was spacious and very pretty with a large shower. We had drinks overlooking the water that evening and walked around the town. There is a women's dress shop in the centre square with some amazing deals! There is also a centrally located laundromat within walking distance. Breakfast was a full buffet of delicious hot and cold choices and the option of a great cappuccino! The ferry is literally steps from the hotel and we were able to get a day pass which allowed us to visit Bellagio and Menaggio. Do consult the ferry schedule as not all ferries stop at Argegno. We had made a reservation for dinner at the hotel restaurant before we got there and am I ever glad we did! The dinner was excellent and the setting romantic. Our waiter even brought us a local fish appetizer on the house. We were at Hotel Belvedere for two nights but I was sad to leave!"

The moment you walk onto the terrace, it feels like you’re stepping into a postcard. The panoramic sweep of hills, the water below and the blue sky and clouds. Absolutely stunning. Service & Hospitality A view this good can sometimes make a hotel complacent, but the staff here are the true stars. From the warm greeting at check-in to the waiting staff it was such a friendly feel. They seem to anticipate what you need before you even ask, making the entire stay feel seamless and personalised. Food The breakfast included in the price was delicious, pastries, coffee, juices, yogurts, and cooked items. We dined here the 1st night due to the weather preventing us going much further and the meal was one of the best ive ever had. I would and already have recommended this hotel to others. We stayed in a room which did not have a lake view but it was clean and comfortable and I would stay again in a heartbeat."

"The property was beautiful and the staff was excellent. The spa was not open all day only 4 to 8. The breakfast was exceptional. I would go back. The spa was immaculate as was the rest of the hotel. My only issue was that the room was too warm and there was no way to cool it down except open the slider with no screen."

"The staff was amazing and very helpful. The view of the lake was beautiful. While the walk to the train station had a small portion without a sidewalk, it was a short beautiful walk. And the staff also arranged for pick up and drop off at the train station when we had luggage."
