"Although the hotel is above an isolated small local town, the walking areas around the lake are gorgeous and peaceful. The staff members are so very considerate to shuttle and pick up anywhere and anytime. They refer to you by name which makes one feel so cared for and appreciated. "I stayed here for a trip to Niseko, which is about a 30-minute drive away. The hotel has some wonderful highlights, but also a few downsides to consider. The Highlights: • Stunning Views: The breakfast was a highlight! The restaurant overlooks a snowy landscape that looks like something straight out of a fairytale. The breakfast selection was also quite good. • Great Amenities: They offer lovely extras like complimentary soda, tea, and ice pops. There’s also a microwave available, which was very convenient for heating up quick meals after a tiring day of skiing. • Atmosphere: I really enjoyed the live music performances held in the lobby every evening—it added a very nice touch to the stay. • Parking: Free parking is available right across from the lobby, though you'll need to find your own spot. The Downsides: • Onsen & Cleanliness: While they have an onsen, the washing area was not very clean, and the space felt a bit cramped. It also tended to get quite loud inside. • Room Condition: I stayed in a Japanese-style room, which was very spacious, but unfortunately, it felt a bit dated and not as clean as I would have liked. Overall, the scenery and free perks are fantastic, but the cleanliness in the common areas and rooms could definitely be improved."
