Cancelled 4 hours before check-in

We had planned to stay at this hotel after driving for 7 hours, but unfortunately our reservation was cancelled just 4 hours before check-in. A staff member kindly called us and did their best to find an alternative hotel, which we truly appreciated. We were also advised to email regarding possible compensation for a future stay. However, we have not received any response. This was very disappointing, as we had been looking forward to our visit. While we understand that unexpected situations can occur, the way customers are treated afterwards makes all the difference. Unfortunately, this experience has left us feeling reluctant to stay with your hotel again unless the situation is properly addressed.

Nice hotel

A really nice hotel. Restaurant and breakfast are in two separate buildings. The room was clean but a bit on the small side. The car park is a short walk from reception with plenty of room. I enjoyed my stay and would visit again.

Et flott weekend opphold med mye attåt.

Vi feiret vår 30. bryllupsdag med et minnerikt døgn på Ramme. Opplevde hyggelig stab, en fantastisk vognsamling, flott kunstsamling og en utrolig hage. Selve restauranten var kanskje ikke den mest romantiske for en «bryllupsmiddag», men mat og service var godt over middels. Frokostsalen var derimot i «god gammel» stil. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Nokså ny bygningsmasse oppført i gjennomført høy kvalitet. Grei middag, enkel men god frokost. Spurte om å få utsette utsjekk fra 11 til 12, men det gikk ikke - selv om det bare var gjester på tre av 42 rom. Lite smidig, spør du meg! Vi hadde såkalt deluxe rom (Solen) - vær obs på at rommet er trangt. Her burde vi valgt et litt romsligere værelse. Hagen er et pluss, og besøk der kan absolutt anbefales. Er været ok, er det også fint å rusle ned til Edvard Munchs villa og til selve Hvitsten.

Veldig fint hotell, men inspirasjon fra 1800, begynnelsen av 1900-tallet. Meget hyggelige og servicemindede resepsjonister. Minus er at restauranten ligger over gårdstunet. Veldig akustikk, når det er fullt der. Liten meny. Pluss er at de dyrker mye av maten selv. Nydelige smaker på rettene.

Ingen resepsjonist var å se da vi ankom hotellet. Ringte etterhvert, og etter ca 5 min kom personal og innsjekk kunne finne sted. Vi kom til et rom som var vakkert - nesten litt Askepott-aktig. Men for 2 personer, så var det mildt sagt lite og trangt. Ringte derfor resepsjonen, og spurte om mulighet for et bytte. Det lot seg imidlertid ikke gjøre - til vår skuffelse.

Fantastisk destinasjon med et hageanlegg som tar pusten fra de fleste. Meget høy kvalitet på både bygninger og uteområder, håndverksmessig nydelige arbeider. Anbefales på det varmeste. Eneste som trakk litt ned var utfordring med å få servitørens oppmerksomhet for bestilling av drikke - et blikk og et nikk er alt som skal til for en mye bedre opplevelse. Om du er interessert i Munchs kunst, så bør du sjekke i forkant om den er tilstede. Var for tiden utlånt til……..Munch-museet. Totalvurdering: 99 av 100 poeng.

séjour dans une bulle de beauté et de calme

nous avons passé un séjour dans une bulle de trauillité et de beauté. Le soin apporté à chaque détail dans la décoration de l'endroit, la proximité du magnifique jardin et du chemin d'Edvard Munch avec le concert dans le théâtre de verdure. C'était inattendu et reposant!

Nostalgitripp med blikk for vakre detaljer, men lite vekt på brukeropplevelsen. Bestilte luksusrom med såkalt avslapningsbadekar og balkong. Fant ikke badekaret, og balkongen var kun luftebalkong uten så mye som en krakk å sitte på. Badet var trangt, dusjdøra ble stoppet halvveis av toalettet, hodet stanget stadig borti håndklestanga, toalettveskene måtte settes på gulvet og det manglet glass til tannbørstene. God seng, men trangt å komme rundt den. Lurer på hva standardrom kan være når dette var av de dyre rommene.. Artig sted å dra for en helg, sikkert fint for en konferanse eller fest når rommet ikke er det viktigste. Litt klaustrofobisk hvis man ønsker et rom å tilbringe tid i med mulighet for et glass vin på balkongen. Hyggelig betjening og god mat.

Anbefales på det sterkeste!

Vi hadde et kjempefint opphold på Ramme, anbefaler virkelig å ta turen hit! Vi fikk gå i den store hagen på Ramme som var så vakkert, og på galleriet. Det var utrolig koselig på hele tomten, masse dyr der også. Kjempegod mat i restauranten til middag. Myke senger og koselig rom.

de natuur geeft rust.

geweldige locatie gevoelsmatig ver van de bewoonde wereld. alle rust aanwezig in een zeer milieu bewuste omgeving. nabij gelegen restaurant heeft een beperkte kaart maar die is dan ook voortreffelijk. ontbijt ruim continental op zijn Noors. in de kelder tekeningen van Edvard Munch, op een half uurtje lopen zijn huis aan de fjord.
