"Great hotel, location and staff"

"Clean hotel and room. Great base for our activities."

"The hotel is great honestly. Maybe not as close to the center but the rooms are spacious, the hotel is well maintained, there were different nglish language channels on TV. There's a very nice park infront of the hotel Rambrandt park. An 8 minute walk to amsterdam lelylaan station which is a small train station you can go to zaandam from that not needing to go to Central station. It is also a 5 minute train ride from there to the airport. There's also a tram station 2 minute walk from the hotel...

"If you are visiting Amsterdam, I highly recommend staying at the Notting Hill. The team is very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel has a chic, rustic, classic quality to it. "Great location, close to train and busses, restaurants, supermarkets, shopping. Rooms are great, especially the superior rooms and studios for a longer stay with a cooking plate and refrigerator Beds are comfortable, rooms are clean. Awesome staff, very helpful and friendly."

"Overall good hotel however no AC in our room. Complained several times but no luck. Just the usual ‘someone will fix it’. Was very hot in the room. Also struggled to get room cleaned. Even booked via reception and still nobody turned up. Hotel is good 15-20mins train from the central station. Clean nice hotel otherwise"

"We were there a week. Room only cleaned once which only consisted of garbage removal and clean towels. No clean glasses or refreshing of the tea bags. In fact my old tea bag was left in the glass for me. Front desk staff very helpful and polite. Accommodation was comfortable but could use a little more lighting. Location is good-close to Amstel station!"

"They didn’t have irons / ironing boards in the room. When I asked they said they had one in a dusty closet on the fifth floor chained to a radiator. That’s where I ironed my shirt and slacks for a business conference. Absurd."

"The “small” room was very small. Would not suggest for two travelers as there is nowhere to empty suitcases or put suitcases that don’t impede walking around the bed. Great location Very clean."

"Lovely hotel and our second time visiting, the only thing we weren’t keen on was the new self check in service, it just felt quite impersonal! We preferred it when there was a proper reception. Other than that, more food options where reception is would be handy as there aren’t too many places local. Nice hotel but these are just personal preferences. Staff helpful when they were there."

"Breakfast was substantial but very busy. They were quick to refill in the breakfast area bot so much at the bar area. We faced an alleyway which had two party areas. The thumping music was very loud. A good 15 min. Walk to free ferry to city. The staff was very helpful in assisting you. The room was clean but bed could have been made up and fresh towels everyday. They only come I to your room every 2 days. In general pleased with the accommodations for what we paid."
